Hi  hi I’m moving from sky to E E but I want to use my own router which is already set up to be used on sky‘s network. What is it? A simple transferred over or do I have to factory reset everything? It’s a Netgear Nighthawk R 3000. Should of said it fftp

You will need the PPPoE Credentials.

This and other useful info can be found here: https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/using-and-configuring-a-third-party-router

@Lee14801  that is a simple swap, just plug the Netgear into the Openreach ONT, probably as you already have it and use the following settings, although you can use your own choice of DNS. It is worth taking the EE router in case of issues, as CS won't know anything about your router.

Presumably you are not taking Digital Voice or TV?

Full Fibre
Connection type: Point-to-Point Protocol over ethernet (PPPoE)
Broadband username or login name: bthomehub@btbroadband.com
Broadband password: BT (or leave blank)
Authentication: CHAP
DNS: Auto or Obtain from ISP (we'll automatically provide these when you connect)

@Lee14801 Follow the advice of @Matt_124 and @Mustrum , keep away from factory reset there is NO need for it, do setup and connect your EE Supplied router test and park it back in the box, that is the only support that they can look at if you have an issue, and at least you have an option to go back with if something gets stuffed.
