Moved to EE 1.6gbps painful

I moved from a full fibre BT package to EE 1.6bbps.  Nearly three weeks and still not working.  EE blame Openreach and vice versa so stuck in the middle. There seems to be no real SLAs by Openreach and EE don't seem to know what Openreach are doing. I'm waiting for an appointment from Openreach but doubt I will get one.  Anyone else got similar problems?  I'm really fed up 🤬😒

@Seasider53 Not sure how you want to do this, but your current Pro, either if your App is working or via the Web Manager at https://192.168.1.254 but this is what was floating around as Firmware versions so have copied backwards a few if you want to look. The two bold ones, just consider those to be the same as very little difference in them, with the final Linked post at the end from EE.....

@Seasider53 Please explain this from your post ""I do have the Smart Hub 7 Pro, they are a bitch to link to different routers""

Do i think that you have a secondary Router connected to the back off your PRO on the Ethernet connection and using this said for Routing or AP mode off operation.....

r4.28.1-R-1882725-PROD-1 so that is the latest

The log file has a number of these messages ==> Network interface eth2 down

There aren't masses but they are on most pages

@Seasider53 You did see that reference to STABILITY PROBLEMS that is just not an Unreal event, few have reported not much being said !!!! What is plugged into that Ethernet Port, down is a lost connection / bad cable / or the Ethernet getting switched off device wise, example say a PS5 on the port or a TV and you switch it off, connection gets lost....

This was ONE off the fixes that EE did with the version, if you had it before or not that i do not know, EE CS is going to be your best help regarding what needs to be done.

  • Fix - Ethernet/wired devices taking a long time to establish connection
