Moved from BT to EE, would I need to tell BT I upgraded or will they know?

Hi all I was wondering if you could help,

I'm anxious using a phone to call so any loop here to avoid it would be absolutely fantastic, I was wondering if BT would automatically know if I made the move to upgrade from them as EE and BT are one thing? I know my current BT service bill will be changed to my new EE one so I'm here hoping not to make a call to BT about my switch to EE.

Thankyou 💜

@SianAlexander If you done it all correctly then NO, BT was the call or online to move to the EE service. Will post the help link for you, but you contact BT to move the service to EE! Watch the video and if not sure use the help above to find what you need...

How did you make the move? Did you contact BT 1st or EE?

@XRaySpeX Kind of read it that the OP had not done anything as yet, but you just never know.

@XRaySpeX I ignored the heading, looked more closely at the thread post, and did not want to go into the all consuming BT and EE are all the one and one only company scenario, coming together link i did think about posting though!
