I live in rural East Devon. At home we enjoy an excellent full-fibre service but the mobile coverage is poor so we connect over WiFi. The recent storms severely disrupted mains power and we had one 12-hour blackout an a few shorter outages. I noted, on the EE website, that a Battery Back Up unit can be supplied by EE to vulnerable customers who rely on a Smart Hub and Digital Voice. I called the EE order line, and spoke to a helpful guide who told me that the device can be supplied (to non-vulnerable customers) for a one-off payment of £85.00. He was unable to provide any details, or direct me to anything by way of an on-line brochure. He suggested that the only way of getting more information would be by ordering the product. Anyone out there who can provide details of performance, capability or dimensions, please?

@FlintMcCrae Try THIS HERE it’s just a UPS. You can purchase any UPS though. The more you pay the longer it’ll last as it’ll have more/bigger batteries. This one though is designed specifically for the router as other UPSs have standard sockets for plugs.
