Hi,
Just signed up for EE Broadband in my new flat because it said no landline needed. However, after signing up I get a message from EE/BT saying openreach engineer will need to attend my property. Why? I don't have a landline nor a landline/Openreach box. Will they install one? I'm confused why it doesn't need a landline to connect to EE yet they are coming out anyway. Anyone been in a similar situation?

@Ropenta all broadband services need a way for the signal into your property. No landline means you do not need to take a voice phone service, but yu do need a connection, this could be a new fibre or copper line. Hence an Openrach engineer visit is needed to provide your service.
