If we give up our landline/telephones can we continue with broadband?  Are there cost implications? Thanks

@Nick1234567 Is your service with EE currently?

Yes Jim it is and has been for many years.

@Nick1234567 You should be able to get an upgrade price from your account, the theory is yes dropping phone is allowed, package saving depends on what you have as your phone service just now, you will be forced to re-contract for the 24 months. If you are in a new fibre area, FTTP and have FTTC now, then also this would be enforced and there may be a possible  charge against the upgrade. If you get new home equipment depends on EE with the upgrade. HTH

Thanks, Jim. Very helpful.

@Nick1234567   whilst you may see upgrade options on your account, I have always found it best to give the Broadband Care Team a call, after doing your homework.

That said, I suspect there will be little savings to be made, this tome last year you could save between £2 - 2.50 ish per month, by not having a landline phone service. But list prices seems to have increased since then, hence not sure there are savings to be made.

Thanks for this Mustrum. Will look further and chat with the team
