Landline stopped working - says number is temporarily unavailable when i dial ou

My landline has stopped recieving calls and placing calls. It was working fine last night.

When I dial out it says this number is temporarily unavailable, and when i dial my mobile (not EE but another provider) it says this number is unavailable.

My broadband connection seems to be working fine for the computer and mobile.

I have unplugged the phone line and the power cable and replugged after about 10 seconds - and the phone still doesnt work. I called the tech folk but there is a 45min wait. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Have the following issue with my Digital home phone, get a Dial tone but cannot ring anyone, when I try to phone EE tech support this does not work, have tried to ring EE Tech support on mobile phone but this does not work as well.

Can some help me please

@APACHE060 , EE have an outage and are trying to fix this urgently, so that is why you are having problems, there are plenty of threads about it.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hi. My landline is down and I want to report it to EE but unable to get through. Have tried phoning to report but numbers are dead and/or no one answering. Not good. I pay alot for this service as i look after elderly relatives who only call me on that when they need help. It's imperative it's up and running soon. Please advise on timeframe.

My line was working again last night, but today not working again!

Hopeless!!

@Hwilliams2 It's a hang in there until EE manage to get it all sorted out and return the service to somewhat normal operation condition. You may find that there is a prompt or text in the contact us if they are still working to apply what ever they have found to be the problem! 

Edit:- page is showing clear and free, so you may wish to check that it is not your connection only!

I can’t contact to customer service either, their phone doesn’t ring, this is Friday 25 July 2025 

Do try  conacting EE customer service by dialing 150 from your mobile phone

Service outage seems to continue, are there any timelines as to when this will be rectified? I do not have home broadband connectivity and my handset cannot call EE numbers to speak to someone... I have followed all troubleshooting options, I have power etc etc. This issue is not in the home. A response from an EE rep would be most appreciated! thank you.
