Landline phone with FTTP

Is it possible to keep my landline phone if getting FTTP installed? If so, which package do I need to select? I want the 900mb FTTP.

Also, does it have to be installed by a cable or can it be installed connected to the telegraph pole? A different provider advised us against their cable installation as there would be too much drilling and concreting and suggested we get fttp from a different provider from the telegraph pole instead.

Sorry that was a problem with my broswer.

@Coz21 yes that means you're service will come from a pole and the engineers will need to use a hoist to help them with the installation.

Thanks

Neil

Coincidentally, my next door neighbour was having broadband installed today by Open Reach (not sure which kind, I'm guessing fibre of some kind) and they were up a ladder connecting it to the  pole. They had to abandon the installation though as her electric went off.
