JVC LT-32CR230 TV is slow to connect to EE Smart hub plus.

Hello,

I have a JVC LT-32CR230 TV, and the TV is connected to my EE Smart Hub Plus router by ethernet Cable, find that when I trun the TV on it shows on the main screen not connected after about 1 min it changes to connected, and when I try to open an app on the TV the following message comes up on the screen saying not connected click off the box and the TV connect to the router, has change the ethernet cable but no good.

Any help would be great.

Have you tried using the WIFI connection ??? I know doesn't answer your question , but I've found the Smarthub Plus signal to be a lot stronger than the Smarthub 2.

@APACHE060 You are aware that the EE Smarthub+ router Ethernet port takes 30 seconds for a fresh connected device, ie your TV to authenticate against the port, this has been reported for yonks on the forum. The only known work around is to put a switch in front of the EE Nic port to stop that from happening. If you wish to do this let me know, will find and link the post. Amazon info links, barrel cable if you wish to power the switch from a usb source or back of the EE Router usb port. You do get a standard mains adapter with the router, your choice.
