I have a new hub but it's showing firmware v0.43.01.15019-BT? Should this not be an ee firmware? I cannot get Wi-Fi controls to work

Without the Wifi Controls you can't run the speed test or see what devices are connected. Through the BT app I used this

- You can run a speedtest anywhere. There are many of them. I prefer http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html . Click on the "Results Page" button at the bottom of the graph you first see and then copy to here just the "Link to this result:" link that you see below the next main graph.
- You can see Connected Devices by logging into router at http://192.168.1.254 with the admin password on the bottom of the slider label on the back of the router & then looking on the Advanced > My Network page.

@sbarker555 Are you a new BT-EE migration customer? The EE app does work with the EE Smarthub+, cannot comment regarding stronger/weaker signal, and will be faster speed wise as 1 generation of wifi later, but that all depends on your device capabilities, nothing else.

Yes I was on BT Fibre 2 and now migrated to EE Fiber 500 Essentials - was actually cheaper than what I was paying before ! I was told that the BT repeater discs I have won't work with the EE Smarthub+ so hence my original signal query. Hoping this resolves my issue on trying to pair the EE app with the hub for the wifi-controls. Due to be delivered tomorrow so time will tell then !

@sbarker555 When you have time, post up what BT Repeater disk's you have, the Black complete wifi DO NOT work with the EE Smarthub+, the white BT Whole Home are supposed to but some have been posted as causing issues. Link below lets you see what from the BT Forum.

@sbarker555 They will not work with the router, equivalent from EE is the model SW30A to work with the SH31B/32B.
