I have a new hub but it's showing firmware v0.43.01.15019-BT? Should this not be an ee firmware? I cannot get Wi-Fi controls to work

@sbarker555 Can you explain why you have a NEW hub the EE Smarthub (2003) version? What version of app that you are using and the version number of the actual app if it is not too much of a problem.

Yes, you have the EE Smart Hub (2023), model no. SH20A. I understand it is EE badge-engineered of the BT SH2 & therefore likely to still have BT firmware.. As such it is a WiFi5 compatible router. 2 later EE routers are the WiFi6 Smart Hub Plus & the WiFi7 Smart Hub Pro.
I'm unsure whether the EE app is meant to work with the EE Smart Hub (2023).

@sbarker555 As @XRaySpeX has said, it is not known if the EE app has the ability to connect to that specific router and do the control that you may need, take it that you had a like for like swap out from EE. You would be better to call EE CS and get to Technical Support and ask the specific question of does the EE app control the Older EE Smarthub (2003) model!!!!

I've given you their official names. That's all you need.
Duh! How stupid! They just throw routers at any issue regardless of whether it can possibly fix it!

@sbarker555 It's not an automatic that if you call, just give me the latest hub, and as advised, have you called to find out what works, public forum and all customers like yourself. Take it that you think you have something specific that you require. Did you ever need wifi controls before but you need them now?
