I placed an order for Broadband and TV on 13th January so I could get everything moved over before my contract with my current supplier runs on on the 17th February
I have received a date now of March 19th for an engineer to install and I can't understand why it is taking that long when initially I got an email to say it is approximately 10 days
Other than holding on a phone for ages is there any other way I can get hold of someone to discuss this
Thanks for any help

@bfcbri Are EE doing a OTS control for the broadband you are getting, if so then they inform your old supplier ONCE they have finally managed the install. If not then it's a call to them, there is no other contact method.

@JimM11 I am pretty sure they are meant to be handling everything, I was going to check with the engineer when they did the install
The problem I have is with the wait time as I was hoping the new installation would have been completed before the end of my current contract

@bfcbri You will only have a slight overlap if the OTS switch does everything correct, there appears to be a major we all want FTTP but OR the network provider they can only do so many install's per day, one hic-up and it all goes to pot....
There is none of this wait and see, if you did not do anything like phone up your current supplier and say look i leaving you at the end of the contract, then EE are doing it all, the theory is your old stay's up, you pay the little extra, but hey you have Broadband until the smooth switch over.
Note: applied sept, installed nov5th, 21 day first, oops on install reschedule and a further 21 day's. Just the way it works out.
