Improving Wifi for my doorbell and cctv

Coops51

I have EE through a router in the top of the house next to my work computer, pointed in the direction to get the best signal as we live in an old house in the middle of nowhere with trees etc blocking signals so i am loathe to move this router as its in the best position.

The issue is i was looking to put in a cctv camera and doorbell but when at the front of the house the signal is soo so poor and will not work effectively, i am looking at boosters and just want to get the best/correct ones.

The wall it is going on has access to a plug inside the house (once drilled through) and i am guessing if i put a booster on this and plug into that it would work effectively, or just by having the booster close to it would give me significantly improved wifi connection without needing to be hardwired in.

As you can guess i dont know much about this but any help advice would be appreciated.

@Coops51 The TP-Link wpa4220TKit will do all right with getting the wireless out to the doorbell and to the CCTV also, you do need a spare ethernet port on the back of your router.  Get the units, power up and see how good your wireless is for the devices.

Which EE BB plan are you on including its speed? What EE router do you have (read its label or post a pix)?
