If I switch from VM in another family member's name.....

Hi guys,

My nan signed up to Virgin Media for me when I moved in to my address last year.  I pay the bills and responsible for the account but it is in her name.

I received a marketing call from EE today and they said that I could still switch and receive the exit fee for my (in my nan's name) Virgin Media exit fees, having my EE broadband under my own name (as I'm already with EE for my phone).

I just wanted some advice whether this is true before committing?

Thanks in advance,

It should work as BB migrations are dictated by address. Your nan will receive notification that someone is trying to take over her line. As long as she doesn't object it will go ahead. It will look like a new resident is moving into a home.
