Pretty much as it says in the title.
Also, I didn't have the router thats being asked for? I had a BT router, it wasn't a home hub 2 but thats what they want me to return.
Never having had one in the 5 years I was with BT I'm a bit anxious I'm going to get charged for something I never had.
Have I made a mistake going to EE? I like how my free anythie upgrade has a £50 up front fee, but when I was outside the free period there were no up front fee's
Definitely feels like I'm on one today 😄

@Greefy67 A free anytime upgrade doesn’t include any upfront cost it just means you don’t have to pay off the current tariff.
You need to speak with customer services about the router.

I migrated from BT to EE and they required my mini-hub back which I sent and I have tracked it as being received on 5th June but they are chasing me saying they still want it back. I have the tracking but it is impossible to contact them as when I call I am told there is over a 40 min waiting time. I have been advised to use chat to contact them but this ends up saying chat cannot help and I have to call them on a certain number which a bot them texts me with a link to call another number which answers as BT Visual and then tells me to wait for too long or call back another time. They really make it difficult for customers to communicate.

@tnj , there are only so many staff, who an answer calls, and they are probably dealing with other customers, so you have to wait your turn to speak to them, but if you try another day or time, you should get through pretty quickly, like every where, there are waiting times, unfortunately.
