I've been using EE Broadband for 3/4 months now the first month I paid over the phone and thought it easier to set up a monthly £29.99 standing order
Twice now I've received letters saying because no payments have been made a extra £7.50 a month late fees have been added
I emailed screenshot of proof I've paid but to date I'm waiting for a response
And still the letters come
Any suggestions 🤔?

@WatersA Would check where your Standing Order is going to, also as EE do not use e-mail, where is that going to.
Below the EE Payment help link for you.

Have you set up your S.O. to pay:

@WatersA A Standing Order is not one of the "Ways to Pay your Broadband Bill".
Using that method is likley to cause you future problems especially if you also have a telephone service and have call charges. Also as your bill will vary each year you would have to ensure you made adjustments in time for the increase.
Instead follow the steps in this Help Page. https://ee.co.uk/help/billing-payments/payment-methods/how-can-i-pay-my-ee-bills

@XRaySpeX as already explained, a standing order is not an optimum way to pay bills that can be variable.
Late Payment Charge - If you don't pay your bill by Direct Debit or Recurring Card Payment and your payment is made late (more than 15 days after your
bill date), we'll charge you a £7.50 fee. This charge will be applied to your next bill and then again for each subsequent late payment. Realy not sure why you don't get it.

@Mustrum : Pardon? Get what? No need to be rude! I get it all! It's not difficult to time a S.O. to be on the billing date to avoid late payment. You have plenty of leeway. In most cases the payment would be same thro'out the year with plenty of time to revise it for the annual increase or any other known change.
