On my previous Plusnet router, and, I think, on earlier EE routers, it was possible to configure the light to turn off and on according to a schedule, rather than only being able to configure the brightness or turn it off permanently.
EE, it would be great to have this functionality on the Smart Hub 7 Pro and WiFi 7 Pro Extenders, please.
An example use case is where a router or extender is located in a bedroom: it's helpful to have the lights on during the day to see the connection status, but best for them to be off at night so as not to disturb sleep.

@GC_Wood You can just turn the light off permanent and get the reverse function when it lights for an error condition!
Messing with the FW is just not a good idea, hard enough to the systems working as is, without anything else and just another possible app oops!
