How to set compatible WiFi to 2.4ghz

Horaldo

Hi.

I have a device that needs to connect to 2.4ghz WiFi for it to connect. My EE smart hub 7 Pro says in its technical specs that it can output 2.4ghz, but the compatibility mode only splits the original 6ghz down to 5ghz. Is there a way to change the 5ghz down to 2.4?

@Horaldo You are looking at it wrong with the statement that you have made.

Try setting up Compatible WiFi on the router under Advanced > Wireless Settings (it defaults to 2.4 GHz) & connect your problematic 2.4 GHz devices to that.
