How can I use my laptop without Wi-Fi at my workplace?

Hi, I could really do with working on some online college assignments in my lunch hour at work however we don’t have Wi-Fi at the small shop I work at, is there a way round this?

To activate your hotspot, go to Settings > Mobile Data > Personal Hotspot.

You'll then just need to supply your laptop with the password and you're all set.

Thanks james this will be great if I can do it as I get loads of data in my allowance 😊. how do I get it to connect at the laptop end? Do I go into settings on the laptop and look for a network or something?

What type of laptop is it @Emmashea16

If it is Windows, just click on the WiFi indicator at the bottom of the screen and select your phone's hotspot name, you'll then be prompted to enter the password.
