Has anyone had the 'Free' upgrade to Full Fibre please? I'm just wondering how the changeover day went with BT Open Reach.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@FiestaRed Are you sure you are getting a FF Full Fibre upgrade, what you are describing is more like a Digital Voice changeover....

The emails from EE said " I was getting a FREE upgrade to Full Fibre" and later ones gave me the dates and said Open Reach would be in touch.
I'm sure it's as you mentioned earlier that there has been a massive mess made of the planning or something was lost in translation between EE and Open Reach.

The initial message from EE:
"Great news – we’re upgrading your service. We’re giving your broadband a free upgrade to Full Fibre, our most reliable and future-ready connection."

@FiestaRed Sure say's you are getting a Full Fibre upgrade, surprised he was messing about with your Phone Socket, no need for him to be anywhere near it in the slightest, EE / OR what can one say, next one that arrives straight out your mouth, you are here to do a Full Fibre upgrade, if not then get lost. Your go live date will all be messed up now, and the landline you can only wait to see what happens now, EE Tomorrow get straight on to them....

@FiestaRed , that is who I had, Kelly Coomunications, did a good job, fixed wires to the wall of the house, I would certainly report him. I suspect that Open Reach will come round and do an inspection and speak to you to see if all was ok, that is what happened to me, I would certainly report it as a bad job, as not all who work for partners of Open Reach are bad, I believe most do a good job.
