Fuse Energy app and website blocked by router

Austel

My energy supplier Fuseenergy.com has suddenly started to be blocked and flagged as unsafe. It was ok last week and continues to be accessible if I turn of Wi-Fi settings and just use my mobile.
I have found I can allow access for one hour, but can I set the Fuse website and app to be permissible permanently again?

new Wi-Fi 7 router.

thanks

@Gelert5 You gave in, Fuse forced you, but the EE not a fan off anymore, not that they are bad, just some hic-ups along the way, that i do not want or need anymore.

@skipper13 Flag it up, i will do that for you so they are aware again.... Like this for the future @Ali_A

Hi @skipper13 & @Gelert5

I've bought this to the attention of the relevant team. However, upon testing we're able to reach the site without any issues,

So in order to establish why you're facing this, we just need some further information.

Can you provide the following detailed examples of when it hasn't worked?

How you accessed (PC/Laptop/Tablet/Phone):

Connection type (BT/EE , Mobile/Broadband):

Date and Timestamp :

Error that you see (screenshots are great):

Thank you

Do you need anything else?

Thank you @Ali_A

Here are the answers to your questions...

How you accessed (PC/Laptop/Tablet/Phone): Laptop via EE Wifi 7 home router & Mobile via EE Wifi home router (Fuse app worked with no issues on mobile when away from home using mobile data - my mobile is not with EE)

Connection type (BT/EE , Mobile/Broadband): EE Wifi 7

Date and Timestamp : 6th August (until today I had no issues accessing Fuse website from my laptop or app from my mobile when at home via wifi)

Error that you see (screenshots are great): see attached Fuse app screenshot using mobile on EE wifi 7 06082026Fuse app screenshot using mobile on EE wifi 7 06082026Fuse website screenshot using laptop on EE wifi 7 06082026Fuse website screenshot using laptop on EE wifi 7 06082026

Thanks for your help with this, much appreciated

Hi

this issue has reappeared again.
I can access fuse energy when connected to another broadband provider and when on my EE phone mobile data, but I am again blocked when accessing Fuse energy on my home EE broadband. It therefore appears to be an EE issue rather than Fuse energy.

a response from someone on this forum regarding this same issue may help you?
It appears that on the 15th of July the third party that EE/BT/Sky use to classify business domains for their security hub rulesets may have scraped some sites and mistakenly reclassified them due to keywords that appear on web pages.”

can you help ?

many thanks.

This issue has reappeared as of this week.

on the same iPad, I can access Fuse energy when connected to another broadband provider and when connected via EE mobile date, but not on my home EE broadband.

A member posted this reply when the issue was last resolved, maybe it will help someone at EE solve it again?

Hi,

this may also help your investigations as my router allows access to fuseenergy.com, when I select Allow Access  for one hour, on my router.

for clarity, I can access the site on my mobile data AND I could access the site yesterday on a B4rn broadband connection.

I will test today on a Sky Broadband system, which if it is accessible, would suggest the issue is with EE’s systems, not Fuse.

thanks.

Thanks for highlighting this too, @Austel

I'll get your example logged with the ticket we have open here, too.

What devices are you using when connecting to this page (including operating systems), and is it via ethernet, WiFi or both that you're encountering this issue?
