You can try! Try calling EE CS on the Freephone no.(Opt 1) in my sig. Generally it takes 2 - 3 weeks from order to installation.
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your address? Post the whole table, the text below it and the line above it, blanking out your address.
What do you mean that OR are telling you? You are not a cust. of theirs. It's for EE to inform you when your installation date is having 1st arranged a date with OR.
You haven't actually committed. You can withdraw your order FoC anytime up to 14 days after going live.

@Mitchathome Will be the first available date for getting it all done Full Fibre wise, you can always call up and cancel it, but anyone using the OR Openreach Fibre ISP wise will be in the same situation. It is worth the wait to get it all done HUGE difference in operation and in SPEED if that is your requirement for the second part.
@XRaySpeX OR may have sent the text/e-mail as a confirmation to the actual installation date as well, it is not only the ISP that does it. Did my Vodafone order 28th March, and OR confirmed date 29th March for it 15th April but was a straight switch sky to vodafone then a couple more OR ones near the final date. EE to Sky was similar but the switch was a rapid 5 day's so everything happened virtually as an instant. OR does e-mail out to the ISP's customer.
