Flashing aqua light on smart WiFi plus

Hi.

I recently moved to EE from BT and was sent some smart WiFi plus discs to replace the BT discs I had.  When I originally set this up, they had a solid aqua light.

My broadband recently crashed and had to be reset.  The hub has a solid aqua light but the smart WiFi discs are flashing aqua and not solid.  Are they working or not?  I did try to pair them again to the hub but this hasn't helped.

thanks

No.  I’ve got the digital voice package as well.

Guess what.  They synced first time this morning and are now all solid aqua.  Only thing I did different was to do the reset while they were powered up, not that I’m sure that makes any difference

What does it say about them under Advanced > Wireless Settings > WiFi Extenders?

@Philk65

I had something similar. Two WiFi extenders connected and working normally. Then EE did a remote router reset to fix another issue. One of the extenders re-connected; the other wouldn’t, despite trying all the “pair” routines I could find. It would only re-connect over Ethernet - an impractical method in the intended location.

I had an Exec Complaint ongoing so added this to the list. They assumed the wifi radio had died on the 2nd extender and agreed to send me a replacement. That *did* connect - or, at least - showed a solid aqua, but showed red in the app. @JimM11 suggested leaving it for a few days and he was right. It eventually showed green as connected, and depending on the network screen I was using, the devices connected to it.

Seems unlike to me that *both* your extenders would die after your router reset, but can only suggest you ring 150 and see if they can kick start them or agree to replace.

Let us know how it goes. Good luck.

EE Fibre 900 via SH+ with 2 Extenders, EE TV Pro & Mini boxes, 2 EE SIM's only, all originally BT.
LG Oled, Denon/Cambridge Audio 7.1, Panasonic 4K player, Apple TV 4K

Sorry if this sounds thick but where do I access that?

I tried a factory reset on the extenders, which has actually made the problem worse on 2 of them as they now flash orange after flashing blue so they’re not connecting at all.

Thanks.  Where in the app do I find all of this?  At the moment it says that my broadband issue is still outstanding even though Ihave had a text saying it’s resolved!

@Philk65 Take it you only have a mobile phone?

No.  I’ve got the digital voice package as well.
