Back in July 18th It was time to recontract, simple process you would think, no such luck. I was told I could get fibre 1 no trouble for the same price as my earlier contract. It is now the 24th August and not even a cable has been laid to my property . Every day since the 18th July an Open Reach engineer is supposed to come and fit a small box to my outside wall. No one has ever arrived. When I eventually made contact with EE I was informed Open Reach could not find my house yet when they rang the doorbell no one was in. Neat trick if you can do it!!! A text message from Open Reach earlier said No one needs to be at home when they call? Even though not 1 inch of fibre cable is attached to my property they are billing me for fibre broadband and digital voice. I managed to contact someone in executive complaints department who has promised to credit my account for the difference in price until fibre is up and running, so far so good with that part. By the time they ever get Fibre to my property, as I am an old age pensioner, I will most likely be dead or too addled to make use of it. Well, there's my rant for the day, time to lie down in a very dark room!!
