Due to have Openreach engineer visit this coming Thursday (now Tuesday) and router has not yet arrived. Ordinarily this wouldn't be an issue but a postal strike is due tomorrow!! Can Openreach still fit fibre if my router hasn't arrived?

Thanks for coming to the community, @davis887.

When is your go live date? Is that Thursday when the engineer is due?

Jon

I was informed it would be "live" and activated once the Openreach engineer had been. Hopefully the router will arrive in time but can the engineer still install the cabling and test if router hasn't arrived?

@davis887   the short answer is yes.

However, are you new to EE or upgrading as an existing customer?

New to EE broadband but already mobile customer👍

@davis887   ah OK, was hoping you were an existing EE broadband customer as you could probably use your existing router.

Even so it may be possible to use another router, depending on where it came from.

Which Fibre BB have you ordered? Full Fibre or just Fibre?
