Extremely slow broadband

I have been using ee for a while now it wasn't as fast to begin with but recently it has gotten so slow to the point I can't watch basic things like netflix or YouTube on the TV when it's 1 room away from the box it gets slower than 1 Mbps speeds and I have tried a lot of things to fix it including going on the ee hub but still nothing fixes it and the gaming delays go up to 1118 ms which is around 11 seconds of delay

It also sometimes loses internet connection but not power it happened once for 2 days until someone came to fix it and after that for a few hours only and when restarting the connection takes up to 30 mins +

@Ha74 Your having a joke aren't you, 1000 ms is only 1 second!

Oh that's my fault but I also do get 990 ping in games which is not ideal

@Ha74 That's not so good but are you wired / wireless connected, what EE Router are you using etc, supply no information then you get stupid responses like the answer! The simple test is do something in the room where the EE Hub is, speed test there for all intense and purpose you could have a 2' thick wall between the Hub and the other room that wireless wi-fi just cannot get through, "if it's not been a great to start" with what has EE CS said about it when you called or had tested with them! EE Router from power Off to On up and connected should be NO more than around 5mins to connect and online! So 30mins is excessive!

Smart hub plus router it is about 25 feet away from the extender I am using with 1 very thick wall in between and then I am using Ethernet to connect to my PC bcz the cable isn't long enough for the router the speed is barely faster than in the same room as the router. The router is not under my name because of me recently moving in but ee hasn't done a speed test I'm just unsure why it was like 10 Mbps before and all of a sudden it's less than 1 Mbps and this is a long time after when it stopped working

@Ha74 Ethernet connected to the Extender is that what you are saying, then you are all wireless wifi connected as far as the system is concerned! What speed and connection is the EE Router on ie is it connected to a OR Master phone socket on a copper cable? If you do not know, then use the btw site linked below, fill in the address section and that will say what is available to the address!

BT Broadband

Master phone socket

@Ha74 Use the link and check what to expect, you are on a copper connection so the absolute best in the OR cable world is a 80Mb/s download with a 20Mb/s upload. You could have a cable fault or anything but unless you check at the EE Router that's the place to get the best speed's for checking! The wireless extender relies an a good signal from the EE Router, if it's hanging on by a thread then speed will just not be good at it!

There is no speed test in the web interface to the EE Router, it's only available in the EE app for checking!

It shows me a lot of stuff I don't understand I'm not sure what to look for and how do I check the speed on the ee app
