Ending broadband, keeping landline

I asked this question to a customer support individual and they said probably not but not too sure.
I currently have a broadband and landline account. If I close my broadband account, can I keep the landline?

@kevinko : No, EE don't do landline only. You would need to port your landline to a landline provider, the only 1 I know of now is BT. This will auto cancel your BB.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Many thanks for the swift response. For some reason that is beyond my payscale, the War Department wants to keep our landline number rather than use mobile over wi fi. Looks like VOIP then 😞

I have digital broadband and landline. New contract October 24. Can you cancel the landline only. Not used.
