Ending a contract

My 24-month contract for broadband ends on 4 October. I decided to leave EE and not renew the contract after it ended. Do I need to call them to cancel auto-renewal? Or, do they automatically end the contract as they know I'm not moving the broadband to my new address? Thank you.

The bottom line is that you need to give them 14 days notice to close the account. As you will have already paid up front that could be a date to suit your needs.

There's no auto renewal, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the non-discounted price on a rolling 14-days' notice basis until you explicitly migrate, cancel or upgrade.

If you no longer want any BB at your location, you phone EE on the Freephone no. (Opt 2) in my sig. and give 14 days notice.
