EE smart wifi disc won't connect to EE 5G smart hub

Hi, We've just received a EE 5G smart hub and EE smart wifi disc. I've set the smart hub up with ease, however the wifi disc just has a solid red light. I've tried connecting via ethernet and WPS and have also tried the factory reset but to no avail. Any ideas please?!

@kskillin : The black EE Smart Hub isn't the same as the white EE Smart Router which the round EE Smart WiFi Disc is meant to go with.
