EE smart Hub 7plus extender

Hi guys,

I have a small problem. I've just started a new broadband service with EE. I'm using the latest EE smart Hub 7plus extender. Every time when I open the laptop I have to log in with EE. After a while, I lose the connection and asked to log on the network again. This can happen 5 or 6 times a day. How can I be logged on all the time without logging in all the time.

Thanks,

Digby

@Lord_Digby Make sure you have Auto Connect set as the option on the Laptop wifi to the correct SSID off the EE Hub.

Hi JimM11,

Thanks for the reply.

Auto Connect is on All it says at the moment is you must log in to this network before you can access the internet. All the TV's are connected and working. I've checked all the passwords on the toggle on the hub and everything looks good. I've tried Private and Public on the WI-FI. Been trying all day and not got anywhere. Logging in every few minutes is so frustrating.

@Lord_Digby Your not trying to use EE WiFi ssid per chance, the Free Public one?

Have you also turned the EE Smart Wireless extender off and tried just connecting direct on the EE Hub?

Sorry, not quite sure what you mean?

No, I've not tried that

Looks like turning of the extender has worked! I had to connect to another link but looks like its working.

Thanks Jim

@Lord_Digby What other link, the connection name should be the same on the EE Hub as it is for the EE Smart Wireless mesh extender. You have something not set up correctly. Get the Hub working first, later do the Extender.

Jim,

For some reason, I had two EE WI-FI I could connect to. I swapped them over and now its seems OK
