Hi I don’t know it anyone is having these issues with the Smart WiFi pro 7 extender connecting to the smart hub 7 pro. I initially turned on the extender and plugged it via Ethernet to the router and after a little while it turned aqua blue. I unplugged it and moved it to the top floor of my house to extend the range of the WiFi around my house but when I turned it on, the light was green and slowly pulsed green. It stays like this the whole time. I’ve left it on for over an hour and just stays like that. Could anyone help with this

Have you rebooted the extender and hub since? If not, worth givign that a go as a first shot.
When you say 'top floor', exactly how may floors seperate the hub and extender? The Pro's exclusively use 6GHz for wireless backhaul which is not best known for dealing with lengthy distances/obstructions.

I've experimented with a few ways of pairing (WPS on gateway & extender & using the wire) , both well mixed results sometimes works sometimes doesn't , a lot of the time even with cable once unplugged & moved they refuse to resynch , same with WPS.
but ive found one way that 100% works for me every time ( Both Plus & Pro Hubs & Extenders)
(Beta Interface)
(1) load up the Gateways web interface on a P \laptop (192.168.1.254) & enter the admin password. (2) Navigate to "Devices On Your Network" (3) In left hand side you will see "Add WIFI Extender" , Click it. (4) Then turn on WIFI extender & wait for it to flash orange , when it does Press the WPS button on extender (5) Go back to web interface & press "start" on dialogue box (6) You will see a countdown of 7.00mins , sometime in that 7 mins you will see a dialogue telling you pairing was successful & asking you to name your extender, thats it done works every time.
(Classic View)
(1) load up the Gateways web interface on a P \laptop (192.168.1.254) (2) Go to the "Advanced" section & enter admin password (3) Go to "Wireless" section & "WIFI Extenders" tab (4) You will see "Add a new WIFI Extender" in right hand side at top of devices table , Click it. (5) Then turn on WIFI extender & wait for it to flash orange , when it does Press the WPS button on extender (6) Go back to web interface & press "start" on dialogue box (7) You will see a countdown of 7.00mins , sometime in that 7 mins you will see a dialogue telling you pairing was successful & asking you to name your extender, thats it done works every time.

Hey thanks for the advice but the issue isn’t about connecting the extender to the router itself, it’s the fact that the extender turns on but stays pulsing green. Ive tried pressing the wps button on it and it just stays pulsing green. The router will go into wps mode but the extender won’t do anything

Yeah Ive rebooted everything and still nothing. The router turns back on and works perfectly fine, but the extender turns on and instantly turns to a pulsing green light. Ive tried factory resetting it but still nothing

Oh and to answer your question, yes top floor as in three floors in total. So the router is on the bottom floor and then theres one floor inbetween the router and the extender. There shouldnt be an issue as it will be wired in via ethernet backhaul anyway

@jpantaleon If you are indeed wired backhaul for it then take a look on the web manager interface, advanced wireless/extenders section and that will show you all about how the connection looks.
https://192.168.1.254 to get on the hub. Ethernet should be shown as you connection method, and link to the smart wireless below.
