I’m on the EE 1.6gz package. Speed to the router is fantastic, speeds around the house pretty good (mostly).
I’ve got 3 WiFi extenders (EE provided).
I’ve noticed a problem where every time I use the TV, then turn it off, and turn it back on a few hours later, it won’t connect.
It has WiFi signal, but doesn’t connect to the internet. The only fix is to turn the TV off at the plug, and back on. It’ll immediately find the WiFi and work perfectly again.
It’s not just the TV, it does this on a bunch of devices, including MacBook Pros and Google Homes. So I doubt its because my TV is 5 years old.
I’ve tried everything I can think of.
- compatibility mode
- reset everything
- use the “auto channels” for 2.4/5/6
- move the extenders
anyone else seen this? Or have any suggestions?
Thanks

I would try giving the TV a static IP.
In case you’re not sure, look for the MAC address in your TVs settings then go to the hub
Not On my PC but see how you get on with that. If you can’t set it because the instructions are iffy, let me know and I can post pics.
Not wanting to teach you to suck eggs but if you aren’t sure what a MAC address is, do a quick web search.
Hope that helps.
