EE broadband cancellation email

I’ve had my new EE WiFi 7 installed today after upgrading from the EE 900mbps fibre and it’s awesome, but I’ve received an email saying that as requested my broadband has been stopped. Is this just because my old broadband is ending today since I have a new one? Everything is still working, it just threw me off a little.

@Andelighet Is there anything specific in the e-mail as to the other previous account reference, upgrades normally one to other, but are you and your old broadband both EE possible legacy to new EE, would have a re read at the e-mail.

There’s nothing account number specific in the email, just that it’s being cancelled and about my final bill etc, but in my original call to upgrade my broadband they mentioned new EE, I’ve been getting emails about my service being live today with a new EE account number compared to what I had before. I haven’t requested to cancel anything, but I also just wanted to double check that it’s just my old broadband being cancelled rather than my new one, since I’m more than happy with it.

If you've been given a new a/c no. for your BB, this'll be relating to the old BB legacy a/c.
