EE and open reach failure

We have been without broadband for a week. Initially we were promised an engineer who then never materialised, coming a day later to say the equipment was fine but the line had been dropping out. Yesterday we were advised tgat openreach would check the fault. No communication that had happened but when chased we were advised that it woukd be sorted by 1800 GMT tonight. It wasnt so we rang 150 to be advised that an engineer was scheduled for 18/12 (its tge 24th) and to ring back in office hours!

To say this is dreadful service is an understatement. We have had 2 family members homeworking using hot spot for a week. We have hot spotted for tv.

Would someone care to respond to their promises?

This user discussion forum can have no access to your specific account. Nor is it privy to any promises made to you by EE. You need to raise this with CS.

If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult Check service in your area  to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area.

What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
