Hi there,
What the title suggests....went to reset my extender last night as it had started flashing green, and for the life of me, it will not reset or stop flashing green?
There is nothing in the leaflet supplied with the device as to what this issue could be. There is a solid green light, but not flashing? And I've tried holding the reset in for a few seconds / 15 seconds / in while powering on, but no...nothing.
Any ideas appreciated!
PS - just for clarity - its one of these: Smart WiFi | Home WiFi Booster | EE

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply. I have the full EE Smart Wifi Plus setup.
The router is working fine.

So the replacement unit arrived. Paired it with router. Fine so far.
Moved it. Too far away, wouldn't connect. Moved it again, aaand.....green flashing light of death.
I really don't want a third one of these, just an explanation of what this issue could be? And is it fixable?

Anyone?
Thanks

Any luck with a solution. I'm new to EE and mine is doing the same. Cheers

Hi there, EE replaced both free of charge- of course. Thankfully the replacements have been fine so far and rebooted a few times each time. I did get contacted by someone in EE who wanted to have a look at them to try and determine what had happened, but I never heard anything back.
Sorry I don’t know any more!

@Hogswill Post the model number of both router and smart wi-fi extender. Also below links to the help guides.

@Greg_T sorry picked up the wrong name, there was a post couple days earlier were customer was sent the wrong smart wi-fi booster, which does not pair with the newer router.
