Hi there,
What the title suggests....went to reset my extender last night as it had started flashing green, and for the life of me, it will not reset or stop flashing green?
There is nothing in the leaflet supplied with the device as to what this issue could be. There is a solid green light, but not flashing? And I've tried holding the reset in for a few seconds / 15 seconds / in while powering on, but no...nothing.
Any ideas appreciated!
PS - just for clarity - its one of these: Smart WiFi | Home WiFi Booster | EE

Mine's a EE wiFi extender SW30A only had it two months and it has reduced the signal from 100MBS to 27MBS in the lounge. Was flashing green, turned off and wait then on. Now flashing Orange/Red. CRAP

@AuntVera Link to the help but you do have the Plus model not the (2023) one.

Smart WiFi device lights
The following describes what the lights mean, after the Smart WiFi device has started-up, use the instructions to try to fix the problem.
- EE Smart WiFi (2023)
- EE Smart WiFi Plus
- EE Smart WiFi Disc
- Green - Your device is starting up. It takes roughly a minute to fully turn on.
- Blue or aqua - Your Smart WiFi is all connected. Good WiFi or Ethernet connection.
- Orange - Smart WiFi Plus is working okay. Try moving it closer to the hub or one of the other Smart WiFi Plus devices.
- Red - There’s a problem. Turn your Smart Hub and Smart WiFi Plus device off and on again. If the light still doesn’t turn aqua, use a paper clip or pen to press the Smart WiFi device’s ‘factory reset’ button.
- Flashing orange - Your Smart WiFi is not connected to your Smart Hub. Connect using WPS or ethernet cable.
- Flashing blue - The Smart WiFi Plus device is connecting. WPS is on and connecting to your hub or device, this could take a couple of minutes.

Thanks very much. Have tried the remedies but still not connecting. Have a TP Link thing so will try wiring it in to my Ethernet system going to my sat box and smart dvd player. More wiring behind the TV........
