EE SuperHub PRO (Wifi7) 6Ghz channel reduced to 160 Mhz wide only now...

After weeks when new SuperHub Pro (WiFi 7) was perfectly fine firing 320 Mhz wide channel on 6 Ghz (channel 69),

now router default to 160 Mhz channel and there is no way how to force it to go back to 320 Mhz channel at all...

One say, that's not a problem at all... Still perfect isn't it?

While on 320 Mhz channel it was perfectly giving me 1.7 to 1.9 Gbps on WiFi to my newest devices, now it's limited to max 1.3 Gbps and no more...

Again, no problem in real life, just trying to figure out, why it's reduced self to 160 Mhz which it's contradicting option to have widest channel possible on spectrum, where is no any concurrent AP sp far (yet)...

Anyone else noticed this behaviour?

@GosforthUK Have you had a look see if the 5Ghz channel is holding up at 160 width, have noticed that the Smarthub+ will kick of 80 wide on powerup before it decides that it can open up to 160, have not timed it but observed the behaviour, cannot comment on the Pro version so you do have to rely on one of those user's getting back to you. You could try the smart channel refresh would be the only option if that is in the pro version like the plus.

Yeh, initially, 5 Ghz channel (if on) is default to 80 Mhz, and just over the time it tend to move to 160 Mhz widenest.

However, after some sort of FW upgrade, before which my new SH Pro was fully capable to do 320 Mhz on 6 Ghz band, it's now stuck on 160 Mhz wide only...

I suspect, as "rules" kick off, when app start using "Wifi enhancer" and in attempt to keep ping low, it simnply not allow to go for 320 Mhz wide channel and default to 160 Mhz...

Factory reset not helps, adn amazing speeds like up to 2 Ghz are now gone, and I am happy if I could see 1.2 Gbps at better times,..

To say, I have dropped OFF 2.4 and 5 Ghz and my router running only on 6 Ghz, but still it's unable to set 320 Mhz....

@Are you relying on something else to take care of the fallback devices!

@JimM11  2.4 and 5 Ghz is managed by my own Omada TP-Link system, which it's DM'z on EE SH Pro (I knw, Double nat) and 5 Ghz (160 Mhz) giving me BETTER speeds and ping on TP-Link, than 6 Ghz (160 Mhz) on EE SH Pro!

Simply said:

While first 4-6 weeks EE SH Prio was perfectly fine on 320 Mhz wide 6 Ghz channel, and gave me 1.5 to 2 Gbps speeds on SINGLE 6Ghz connection, now, it's REDUCED to 160 Mhz wide, without any chance to change it, and REDUCED to speeds up to subpar values...

Sudden change occurs, when I actovated Wifi Enhancer, and there is no way how to deactivate it without call to 150... Which itself it's shame, as enhancer reduce channel wideness on 6 Ghz, but never reduce 5 Ghz or 2.4 ghz (how much I have it OFF for purpose, if I switch them off, 5 Ghz channel default to 160 Mhz, but due interference (smart choice defaulting on Ch 36 or Ch 100 only) speeds are subpar...

@GosforthUK You've got it under control, enhancer does seem to be a major work in progress, but the QOS can be hard to manage, and the App or web interfaces are sure not going to help you out.
