My hub has stopped working (constant green light). Spoke to Customer Services this morning and they believe it is a power supply issue and are sending me out a new PSU.
They also stated that I should be able to connect to the Smart Hybrid Connect unit directly whilst the hub isn’t working, but I can’t find out how (it’s an ipad I’m trying to connect so no Ethernet port).
Any suggestions gratefully received.

sorry, yes it’s the WiFi hub (EE Smart Hub) that is not working.

No, I meant can you connect iPad to Smart Hybrid Connect by WiFi in answer to your Q?

@Pyrobod If the EE Router is not working at all then the smart Hybrid cannot function and give you any connection, Hybrid relies on the EE Router for all connectivity when the Internet connection is lost! Below the two help links for the Hybrid and it's operation! Sent you all the Plus info but the pro is the same way!

Thanks that what I suspected and seemed to be suggested elsewhere but Customer Services were adamant that it could be done, but couldn’t tell me how…

How? That’s my question.
@JimM11 ‘s answer below confirms what I suspected that Customer Services were incorrect and it can’t be done.

@Pyrobod Correct the EE Router/Routers do it all the Hybrid connects to the Router, Internet goes down white light on each unit kicks in and Router talks to the Hybrid and the Hybrid goes out 4G to the Internet.
So if your EE Router is toast because the PSU is done it may not be able to kick into resilience mode to operate. You could web manager to the EE Router to see, http://192.168.1.254/ you might be able to determine at least Hybrid is connected or not!

@Pyrobod Did EE indicate when they would be getting you a new PSU unit out? You could try removing the Wan/DSL cable whichever connection you are using, power up the EE Router, it will never get a connection as that is what it is supposed to do, but the PSU may be able to keep the hub up and working, worth a try you have nothing to lose!
