I have had EE Broadband for 8 months now and still can't pair my Smart Hub with the EE App so have no WiFi controls and cannot manage my hub on the app. I have tried contacting EE on a number of occasions but they have been no help. I transferred from Sky and have been very disappointed by the service! I have tried scanning the QR code but nothing happens. I have tried manually entering the details and nothing happens. Can anyone help?

Which EE BB plan are you on including its speed? What EE router do you have (read its label or post a pix)?

Which EE app are you using? Not the EE Home app, I hope.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I am on The Full Fibre 300 plan with a black EE Smart Hub and I am using the EE App, not the EE Home App

Which black Smart Hub? There are at least 4. Read its label or post a pix.

It's probably but not certainly the correct app.

@EwanArm39

Failure to open WiFi Controls was only one of several issues I had  with the BT>EE transition. Got this all the time. It was included in a global complaint I sent direct to the Executive and ultimately was manually fixed by someone in the BB Tech team. At the time it seemed to be a common issue. Works fine now on my phone and tablet. If you can’t get CS to pass you to a BB Tech, complain.
