Anyone else facing this issue?

I set my 2.4 GHz to a fixed channel 6 and saved. The setting doesn't hold and changes to channel 11. I have factory reset the router and the firmware is up to date.

Firmware version:

r2.64.2-R-1210501-PROD-1
App version: 2.34.2

@Huggons1 What wifi analyzer app are you talking about, to display the 6Ghz band?

NetSpot for android is capable of showing you the 6Ghz band and width!

Also should the android app WiFi analyzer not show the router broadcasting on 6 GHz, as nothing shows up.

Cheers

Thanks. Tried the app you suggested and could see the broadcast. Now can see the 2 broadcasts on channel 69.

Don't suppose you have any thoughts on the other thing issue below. EE stating that the router must be faulty, as they faced the same issue when attempting to set the channel remotely.

@Huggons1 Post a screen capture of your advanced wireless settings page, hide you ssid.

You do not really need to worry, if the Pro is as good as the + then the CSMA/CA will be excellent also. Just slows the initial transmission every so slightly at the start. Link to my posted pic a while back, there is a 5Ghz also if you need to take a look.
