Had fallout issues with both new Pro 7 extenders filing to pair wirelessley, taking 20 minutes to re-pair, dropping off after pairing then just refusing to pair. Ended up reseting the extender again, disconnecting the Pro Hub 7 from the mains and starting again after the reboot. Just to avoid connecting by lead to pair I gave the wireless pair a go and it actually worked. For the very first time on either 6 or 7 versions. Fingers crossed but EE did say there is proper fix in the pipeline.

Hi @How4
We're glad to hear that it seems to be working for you at the moment. Fingers crossed they continue to work properly going forward.

Thank you.

Thanks for the quick note! Unfortunately it dropped out again and won't remotely connect. So I plugged in my old 6 series and hey presto! Although that never connected wirelesly.
EE's tech solution is to send out two new 6's until a fix occurs as mine need returning. It seems strange that a seemingly non-compatible machine works better than it's "Best Ever!" successor. Another thing about the old Pro 6 hub. It could reach the TV if the 6 extender went down, not well but the TV still worked. With the new "Best Ever" Hub - nothing. FYI it has to reach across two rooms and a brick internal wall, hardly a great distance.
