Hi,

i have recently took out a contract with EE for a broadband package, and i am also looking at buying a three pack off the google nest WIFI system, has anybody done this instal before and is it easy?

or is it worth scraping the idea and just upgrading to the EE whole home WIFI and using the standard EE mesh wifi?

i appreciate this might have already been asked before, but i cant seem to find the answer while browsing these threads

What is "EE whole home WIFI"? Do you mean EE's Smart WiFi or BT's Whole Home WiFi?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Basically “EE Whole WiFi” is basically the same at BT’s where EE would provide the extenders for around the house to boost the signal due the fact I live in the most oddly built house ever,

To add EE’s option to my package it’s an extra £10 a month and over the 24 months that’s obviously £240 not taking in to account prices rises,

I can get the Google Nest Mest WiFi system for just a little less then that through a friend,

I just want to know if it’s an easy set up and has anybody done it before with some tips and tricks?
