EE/BT Blocking access to mail.micloud19.com

Hi,

I have called in a few times to try and get this resolved, to no avail.

I can not access my work emails (outlook) on my home computer with EE as a provider.  It gets immediately blocked and says to check the proxy and firewall settings.   The only way to get access to them at home is to turn the wifi off on my phone and access them through 4g on my phone, but this is of no use with much larger emails with attachments needed from computer etc.

Mail.miclould19.com works perfectly well on the work broadband provider and other broadband providers as it has been checked to see if it was a universal problem.  But no, only my ee/bt provider.

The older email address mail.micloud5.com is allowed through and works, but everyone has been migrated to the newer email mail.micloud19.com as this is the newer version as the micloud5 is no longer being supported.

I am having to screen share from home to the work computer to access my work emails, but this is my no means ideal as that computer will no longer be available, leaving me unable to work on emails.

This needs sorting urgently please.

Regards.

Gillian

Hi Everyone,

After allowing the web page through the app multiple times (as it only allows an hour at a time), it is now not blocking it through my computer or through my phone.   Whether this will reset itself at the beginning of the month again as can only look at blocked webpages for either 7 or 30 days, who knows.

But main thing is it is allowing my access for now.

Also, how can I amend my original post to take out a little of the web address as someone pointed out not to put it all in the message.   I was initially told from the ee person that this web site was to get in touch with the complex faults team, so did not worry about putting the full url in..   That was really bad information from them.

Thank you all for your wonderful help 🙂

@Gill98 Dont worry about the posted address, does not go anywhere that causes any problems so really nothing as such to even be worried about, but depending on your applied level you only get 1 hour in time to go edit or make any changes, after that nothing is available!

Hi,

Ok I shall leave it up then as it may help others.   It is strange that I can now access that web address without it being blocked.   I am going to see how long it is before it gets blocked again, but it has been working fine all week.  Would be more helpful if you could allow access to said blocked website permanently, rather just for hour when initially locating the block.

Thank you all for your help though 🙂
