I have an old Orange Broadband Account & am thinking of upgrading to fibre, however the land line is with another provider.
Is it possible to upgrade to EE fibre yet still keep the land line with another service provider?

Which EE Fibre package are you thinking of upgrading to?
If it's EE Full Fibre (FTTP), yes, you may keep your landline with the other provider as Full Fibre does not use a landline.
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

It’s the Fibre Broadband offer the entry level with total speed of 36meg which i believe is not the full fibre option?

In which case you could order EE "Fibre Without Landline" & still keep keep your landline with the other provider.
EE "Fibre Without Landline" still makes use of a copper landline but you get no voice service or phone no. with it & you have no dialling tone. You'll save £2 - £3 pm on it.
When you come to order it don't supply your existing landline no. to EE or they'll whip it away from your existing provider.

So basically if i switch over to fibre without landline i could have the fibre whilst keeping my landline with another supplier & nothing would change i could use the phone as normal but instead of standard broadband i would have the fibre connection?

Exactly! You'll get a 2nd phone socket installed but it'll have no voice service on it, just the BB.

Thanks for confirming that for me.👍🏻

Just a thought this would be all done when i upgrade no need to physically install a second line?

Then how's the BB to get into your home (& router) if there were not a 2nd line & socket?
