I am being charged £2 per month for a digital landline phone which I do not have but I have the ordinance plug in landline phone. I presume that charge for the digital phone in the bill covers use of either digital or standard plug in phone?

Hi @Mourneslad Welcome to the community and thanks for posting, that charge sounds like its for the pay as you go calling plan, which gives you the ability to make and recive calls. It's normally £5 per month but some customers get it at a discounted rate.
EE don't rent landline phones to customers, you can use any phone plugged into the green socket on your Hub or purchase a digital home phone outright from us that links to the Hub via Dect and doesnt need to be plugged in.
Thanks
Neil
