Connectivity issues

We cannot connect to our Wordpress admin page and we've been advised that there are connectivity issues on the trace from our computer to the server’s IP.

Can this be checked please?

Well, we had a connection error with the Jetpack plugin - for us it wouldn't connect to complete the setup. Hostinger went in and installed the plugin (they sent screenshots to prove it) to show it was working perfectly. However, when we log into the admin page it still shows the error!

It was like us and Hostinger were looking at different admin pages.

After digging around Hostinger found that our computer couldn't connect to their hosting server, assuming that EE are blocking access, so we can't make any changes to the website.

Either EE have to unblock access to the Hostiger server or Hostinger have to move the site to another server which, hopefully, EE can access.

I don't think it's a permissions issue, much more likely to be a connection problem. As the Hostinger helper said, the traceroute from the server to your IP is not completed, so ping can’t be passed....

Basically I need to make sure that EE haven't blocked access to Hostinger. How do I find that out?
