Connecting using ethernet lead to extender

I was previously with Sky, and no problems connecting our shed to the internet using a TP-link extender, and our tv at the house was connected with an ethernet lead.  I now have a Smart Hub SH31B with EE, and my tv has stopped connecting with the ethernet lead, and, even tho' I bought a new TP-link extender, RE700x, for the shed, because I thought the old one was the problem, which has a CAT 7 lead running from the modem to the shed, that won't connect either - even though the new extender would connect wirelessly at the house, which negates the extender being the problem.

I can connect the tv at the house wirelessley, so not a biggie, but the fact that we can't get internet at the shed is a massive problem for me

Any ideas what the problem could be?

@WindyWeather  have you reset the network connections on the tv and extender since trying to connect to the EE hub? They will be different from your previous supplier.

Yes of course.  The extender works in the house wirelessly, but not with the ethernet lead in the shed.  Also the television does not work with the ethernet lead at the house next to the modem - suddenly stopped working a few weeks after the new EE modem was installed.

My eufy homebase seems to be working with the ethernet perfectly, and even when I changed it to another port

I just can't get my head around what could be the problem

Yes sorry - this is my mobile phone account, and the other is my broadband account - didn't realise it was the same forum

@WindyWeather Test all four ports of the EE router with the known good device so you know the router is good, takes a good 20 second time initialisation when you change over the network lead, then test the RE plugging into the router with your same cable, if all that works then bad cable from Router to Shed, if RE does not work then it may be bad on its ethernet port... TV's can be problematic as mostly 100mb/s interface connections but the router should be good with that.
