Connecting new EE software from BT to app

I’ve just installed the Smart Hub Plus and Hybrid Connect, and they both work in terms of connecting to WiFi, but the app will not connect to the ‘router’ as it says there is a problem. Is this something that needs to be fixed, or can both boxes be used without the app?

@joanne_peers : Which app are you trying? The EE Game, Home, Work & Learn app or the EE Home app? Don't use the latter with SH+.

It will depend on which facilities you might be interested in, like Parental Controls or WiFi Controls.
