I’ve just taken out a broadband package with EE that includes 12 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I already had my own Game Pass Ultimate subscription, which I have now cancelled, and it is due to end on the 17th of November.
The text message I received from EE said not to activate the included Game Pass Ultimate until two weeks after my broadband activation date (my broadband activated on the 7th of November). However, the EE help page says something different and mentions waiting up to 5 days after the current subscription expires.
I’m unsure which advice is correct. Should I:
Wait two weeks after broadband activation?
Wait until my existing subscription completely expires on the 17th?
Or only wait 5 days after expiry?
I just want to make sure the 12-month EE pass applies correctly and I don’t lose any time.
Thanks.

Good afternoon @Jamie71q
Welcome to the EE Community!
Both of these would apply here, but it's for slightly different reasons.
The 2 week wait for activation is because it would be once you're outside the 14 day returns period for the contract, whilst the 5 days for cancelling the subscription with Microsoft is for ensuring everything has cleared at their end.
