My Home Hub was recently replaced as the old one developed a fault. I want to access the settings on my new Home Hub but when I use the IP address 192.168.1.254 I see message saying that a secure HTTPS connection is required. When I follow the link to proceed the new webpage does not load, just spinning white dots below the EE symbol........ Help please?

That is exactly what i had on my Asus router and after months of emailing backwards and forwards to Asus about getting the new certificate my internet was terrible. So they said send it back for a refund which i did but that meant going back to my EE Smart Hub Plus router which is not pwerful enough to cover my 4 bedroom house like the Asus one could. So the EE one was running ok for a week then i got the not secure HTTPs message on that one too. I then got an error message from EE Cyber security saying my network is compromised and it said the name of my network but with 10 added on the end. It said the router was an OPenWrt router which looked yp and found ISPs don't use OpenWrt. It said Dissconect and block this network which i did and lost my complete network. Took me 4 hours to get it back up and running. I still keep gettingThis Network is Compromised from EE Cyber Security. Neither Asus or EE were any real help with these matters but at least with EE i could talk to sombody unlike Asus. I would like to get a new router so i can get full coverage back to my whole house. I am worried that i will still get the not secure message when trying to log into any routers from any browsers on Laptop or Mobile device.

@Pip-1960 - see my reply in another thread here where both of your observations are being discussed.
If you have any screenshots/further details of the Norton/EE Cyber Security you can share then I'd be interested to see them. I did try installing Norton briefly on a Windows machine I have to try and replicate the problem but I didn't come across the error.
I don't think you've anything to worry about but it would be good to understand why the security software is grumbling.
